Are there any functional differences between the two products?
  1. Tattoo Numbing Cream is designed for pain relief and anesthesia before getting a tattoo.
  2. The 3-in-1 Tattoo Care Balm focuses on repair, brightening tattoos while improving and moisturizing the skin.
Will this cream affect my tattoo?

No. Our cream is water based – not oil based – so the ink, tattoo and healing process wont be affected at all!

Do I need to tell my artist/therapist that I used this cream?

We would always advise to tell your artist but its not 100% essential. Always tell your practitioner if using the cream for anything other than a tattoo or piercing.

How long can a cream be stored after opening?

If the cream has been opened please discard after 2 weeks as once the cream has been exposed to air it will not be as effective to numb.

How much can one pipe cover?

Each tube contains 10 grams, and you need to apply a thick layer! One tube is only enough to cover the entire forearm. We also have 30g tubes.

Can I drive after applying the ointment?

Of course! The numbness is limited to the skin surface and will not affect any part of the body below the skin.

Can it completely numb the affected area?

Everyone's constitution is different, and the degree of numbness varies, but if used correctly, it should be able to completely numb the affected area for most people.

What if you don't have plastic wrap?

A sandwich bag sealed with tape works well too. If you can't find something like that, you might find the anesthesia isn't thorough enough, or the anesthesia doesn't last long enough.

My numbness is subsiding, and I've developed a rash?

Initially, when you feel numbness, your skin should appear paler. But as sensation returns and blood vessels dilate again, it's perfectly normal for your skin to redden.

Can I use it for semi-permanent eyeliner?

Yes! However, you should use an appropriate amount of product as advised by your tattoo artist, and be extremely careful when using it.

How long does the effect of an anesthetic cream last?

Deep anesthesia can last 3-5 hours; rapid anesthesia can last 1-3 hours.

Can I leave it on for more than 2 hours?

We do not recommend leaving the cream on for more than 2 hours. The cream will begin to lose its effectiveness after 2 hours.

What if I apply the cream for less time than required?

You may not achieve a fully effective numbing effect. We recommend that you always apply the cream for the recommended time.
